After a superb 29 games at the weekend, which saw over 100 goals, the action returned within 51 hours as the first of three nights of action kicked off on Monday evening with four games. (Main photograph by James Lobley)

Whitchurch Alport saw their 100% record end as they drew one-all at home against Congleton Town - Alex Hughes with the goal for Luke Goddard's side whilst John Main netted for the away side.

Elsewhere in the NWCFL Premier Division, Hanley Town recorded their first win of the season as Martin Stanyer secured a 2-1 win late on against eighth-placed Winsford United.

Jamie Ramwell netted a brace in Daisy Hill's 3-nil win against Garstang whilst Stockport Town recorded their first win this campaign with a 4-1 win over bottom side New Mills.

On Tuesday, 17 fixtures occurred over our three NWCFL leagues. Irlam ended 1874 Northwich's winning start to the season, with a 4-2 away win, Jordan Southworth, bagging a brace. Whilst Bootle shot up to 11th in the standings with a fine 3-2 win over Ashton Athletic.

Squires Gate came from behind away at Padiham with a late Luke Noble netting the winner.

And Burscough and Rylands battled out a goalless draw at Victoria Park.

In the NWCFL First Division North, Emley AFC came from two-down to draw two-two with 80 spectators onlooking at Ashton Town, Dylan Glass continuing his hot-form for Ashton as he is now up to six goals this term already.

FC Oswestry Town and Vauxhall Motors both came up trumps and continued their impressive start to the season, with a 4-1 win over Cammell Laird 1907 and 5-0 versus St Martins respectively.

AFC Blackpool and Holker Old Boys battled out a one-one draw, whilst Atherton LR secured a 2-1 win over Golcar United

Shelley was one of the biggest winners of the night, a 4-1 win over AFC Darwen propelled them up to third in the standings.

A Kieren Lazenby hat-trick for Abbey Hulton United was part of their 5-3 win over Sandbach United in the First Division South.

Two goals in the final seven minutes secured a vital win for Stone Old Alleynians over Alsager Town, Jordan Erdman netted the 86th-minute equaliser whilst an own goal secured the three points for Jamie Cullerton's side.

264 fans saw West Didsbury & Chorlton come from behind against Cheadle Town, whilst Wythenshawe Amateurs beat Barnton 3-0 and Wythenshawe Town won 3-1 at home against Maine Road.

Lastly, a 29th minute Dylan Norris finish saw Abbey Hey to a narrow 1-0 victory at Cheadle Heath Nomads.

Wednesday evening saw four fixtures in the NWCFL top flight. Longridge Town came out 3-2 winners over Charnock Richard with Paul Turner taking home the match ball, whilst Skelmersdale United finished "midweek" in the tenth position with a 3-0 victory against Litherland REMYCA.

Barnoldswick Town squeezed passed pointless Avro 4-3 in an epic game at the Vestacare Stadium. Zak Dale netted three in a topsy-turvy game which Matt Barnes' side just edged.

Second-half goals from Craig Cairns and Paul McManus gave Runcorn Town their third consecutive win as they defeated Northwich Victoria two-nil.

In the First Division North, AFC Liverpool was rampant at L23 as Chris Anderson's side ran out 6-2 winners over St Helens Town

Nelson narrowly returned from Brent Peters' Bacup Borough with all three points, winning 3-2 thanks to a last-minute Liam Blades finish.

Whilst Pilkington ran out three-one winners over Lower Breck and Cleator Moor Celtic won one-nil away at Steeton.

There was only one game in the FIrst Division South, and what a win it was for Eccleshall who ran out 9-0 winners over Ellesmere Rangers. Louis Downs and Thomas Wakefield netted a hat-trick whilst there was a brace for Matthew Kimmins.

The action returns on Friday night when Barnton face Cheadle Town in the First Division South, whilst the Emirates FA Cup returns on Saturday with 12 fixtures involving NWCFL sides, whilst there are ten matches in the First Division North and eight games are set to be played in the First Division South.
