Crewe FC are looking for a Sports Therapist or Physiotherapist to support our First Team throughout the 2026/27 season.
We're open to hearing from qualified practitioners, those currently studying sports therapy or physiotherapy, or individuals looking for a practical football placement as part of their studies or professional development.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a growing senior football environment, working directly with players and the First Team management.
The role;
The successful candidate will support the First Team with:
Saturday matchday cover – approximately 1pm–5pm
Tuesday evening training – approximately 7pm–9pm
Injury assessment and treatment
Rehabilitation and return-to-play support
Injury prevention and player care
Working alongside the coaching team to support player welfare and availability
We're particularly keen to hear from someone who is enthusiastic about developing their experience in football. Previous football experience isn't essential — we're happy to support the right person who has the appropriate interest, attitude and willingness to learn.
Training & equipment provided;
Crewe FC will provide and replenish the equipment required to fulfil the role.
Where the club requires additional training or qualifications for the role, we will fund these on behalf of the successful applicant, including appropriate courses such as Emergency First Aid in Football Level 2.
This makes the role particularly suitable for someone currently studying and looking to gain meaningful practical experience and build their portfolio within senior football.
Additional opportunity;
There is also an opportunity for the successful applicant to develop their own sports therapy/physiotherapy service from the club, subject to agreement with Crewe FC.
With more than 650 members across the club, there is a significant potential audience for someone looking to establish or grow their own client base within a sporting environment.
We're looking for someone reliable, professional and enthusiastic who wants to become part of a growing football club and play an important role in the wellbeing and development of our players.
How to apply;
For further information or to express an interest, please contact Crewe FC at info@crewefc.org.uk or contact us via our Facebook, Instagram or X channels.

Working with all members of the club to advertise events and write content
Ideally, the candidate would have some experience of managing social media accounts and graphic design, however this is not a necessity.
