February Club of the Month awards Announced

At the recent League Management Committee Meeting, the monthly awards were collated and verified and we can now confirm the February 2024 Club of the month award winners across the respective divisions.
In the Premier Division it is Bury FC whom are the confirmed winners. They played five games across the month, winning four, including wins at FC Isle of Man and home wins over Glossop North End and Lower Breck. They also had one draw which was at home to Burscough. All of this combined was enough to secure another Club of the Month award.
In First Division North it was a busy month with a number of top of the table clashes, however FC St Helens came out of the month with the best record which included a key draw away at Ashton Town, preventing them from gaining ground on them in the title race. There was also a 5-2 home win over AFC Blackpool and an impressive 3-1 win on the road over at Steeton FC. A tough month for them, but they have come out of it relatively unscathed and are in a strong position in the run-in. Congratulations to Mike Smith and his team.
First Division South has also had a tough old battle between the clubs at the top, however it is Stockport Town who are Februarys Club of the Month in this division having put in some very business-like performances across what was a busy month for them which featured four games, three of which were away. The tally reads three wins and a draw, the draw was at home to a resurgent Stafford Town. The three wins were all 2-1 victories and included a key win at title rivals, Brocton as well as a derby victory away at Stockport Georgians. This form has taken them to the top of the Table.
