The Football Association have released the County Feeder League Promotion applications to Step 6.

Below is a list of clubs who have applied to the FA for promotion to our Step 6 Divisions by December 31st 2020, alongside the 2019-20 applicants which ere rolled over.

As it stands, football is still suspended for non-elite and at this moment in time, no recommendations have been made for Steps 3-6 in regards to the continuation or curtailment of the 2020-21 season and so this list is based on the basis of current position of the 2020-21 season still being ‘active’. Any impacts on promotion applicants will be sent by the FA as and when recommendations are finalised.

In regard to inspections, clearly at this time these are not essential and as such following lockdown legislation cannot proceed. However, as Leagues may already have had contact with some of the applicants and if needed, the FA do have copies of ground grading questionnaires so preliminary assessments of ground grading and acceptance for promotion could be made.

Applications received by 31st December 2020:

Euxton Villa (West Lancashire League)

FC St Helens (Cheshire League)

Applicants from 2019/20 rolled over:

Allscott Heath (West Midlands Regional League)

Ashville (West Cheshire League)

Crewe (Cheshire League)

Egerton (Cheshire League)

Foley Meir (Staffordshire County Senior League)

Ilkley Town (West Yorkshire League)

South Liverpool (West Cheshire League)

Stockport Georgians Manchester League)

Wellington Amateurs (West Midlands Regional League)

It must be stated that the entry ground grade H in any preliminary assessments must be FULLY met by 31st March 2021 for the FA to consider the application suitable. If promotion is applicable for season 2021/22 it will be an FA decision as to whether a Club is promoted.
