Fixture Changes due to Macron Cup

The Macron Cup postponements due to Storm Dennis on Saturday have meant some last minute additions and changes to this week's fixture list.

All three outstanding ties have been rearranged for this week, and any further postponements would mean that the fixture will be reversed to the ground of the away team.

Maine Road will try again with 1874 Northwich on Monday evening at Brantingham Road. That means that Vauxhall Motors' First Division South game with Maine Road on Tuesday has been postponed, as has 1874's Mid-Cheshire Senior Cup tie at Witton Albion. The Witton game will now be played on Tuesday 10th March.

Ashton Athletic will try again with Runcorn Town on Tuesday evening. That doesn't affect anything else with neither side previously having a midweek game.

Shelley's home tie with Ellesmere Rangers has been rescheduled for next Saturday, with the reason for this not being played midweek due to the distance between the two clubs. This does have ramifications for several fixtures though.

Next Saturday's league games between Cleator Moor Celtic and Shelley in the First Division North and Ellesmere Rangers and Cheadle Town in the First Division South have both being postponed. Another postponement is Daisy Hill against AFC Liverpool, which will now be played on Monday 2nd March.

One fixture brought foward to next Saturday is Daisy Hill against Cleator Moor Celtic, which has moved from its original date of Saturday 28th March.

AFC Liverpool's progression to the Semi Final of the Macron Cup has also meant one postponement. This is their away game at St Helens Town on Saturday 4th March, that being the date of the second leg.

You can stay up to date with all changes by looking on the Fixture Changes page, which can be found in the Match Centre dropdown tab at the top.
