Played five, won five. Scored 23, conceded three. Goal difference - 20. Points - 15.

These are the identical records shared by FC Oswestry Town and Vauxhall Motors are the summit of the First Division South.

Vauxhall won 5-0 against St Martins on Saturday, while FC Oswestry beat Cammell Laird 4-1.

This week, Vauxhall welcome an Alsager Town side who've won one of their five league fixtures, while Oswestry are away at Sandbach United who lost 5-3 to Abbey Hulton United on Tuesday.

Kieran Lazenby has scored two hat-tricks in his last two games for Abbey Hulton, and they host Wythenshawe Amateurs who beat Barnton 3-0 on Tuesday.

Barnton kick off the NWCFL weekend action on Friday when they host Cheadle Town. Town will be looking to add to their solitary point earned so far this season.

Eccleshall recorded their biggest ever NWCFL win when they beat Ellesmere Rangers 9-0 on Wednesday, and Pershall Park will be the venue for when they face Abbey Hey - who picked up a 1-0 away win at Cheadle Heath Nomads on Tuesday.

Nomads are away at Maine Road as they both look to bounce back, with the Brantingham Road outfit winless since the opening day.

It's all going wrong for Ellesmere Rangers - conceding 21 goals in their opening five defeats - and next up for them are Stone Old Alleynians, unbeaten in the league so far and currently occupying fourth place.

St Martins have fallen out of the top four this week and look to maintain pace with the leaders when they face Stockport Town after they grabbed their first win of the campaign at home to New Mills last time out.

Cammell Laird were beaten 4-1 by Oswestry in their last game, and Wythenshawe Town are their next opponents.

Town beat Maine Road 3-1 on Tuesday thanks in part to a brace from new signing Stuart Wellstead.
