The Buildbase FA Vase Quarter Final Draw

The draw for the Quarter Finals of the Buildbase FA Vase was made at Wembley Stadium on Monday.

Northwich Victoria were rewarded for their victory over Histon on Saturday with a home tie against Southampton side Sholing. The Boatmen are currently runaway leaders in the Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division, having won 21 of their 22 League games this season and remain unbeaten in their League Campaign. Having scored 71 goals in the process and only conceding 12, they will be tough opponents for Vics, but with home advantage Steve Wilke’s side will be confident of reaching the semi finals.

Vics will be watching out for Sholing front men of Dan Mason and Lee Wort who have scored an incredible 83 goals between them in all competitions this season.

Irlam’s reward should they progress through Saturday’s Fifth Round tie, will be a touch trip to Northern League opponents, either Hebburn Town or West Auckland Town. Just like with Irlam, that 5th Round tie also fell to the weather on Saturday.

The quarter final draw was:

Hebburn Town or West Auckland Town v Irlam or Chertsey Town

Canterbury City v Biggleswade

Willand Rovers v Cray Valley

Northwich Victoria v Sholing
