Investigations are currently taking place into allegations that two teams played ineligible players in games against Leek CSOB in Division One league games.
It has been brought to the attention of the League Management Committee that in the games between Cheadle Town and Leek CSOB on March 31st, and Ashton Town and Leek CSOB on April 3rd, players appeared for Cheadle Town and Ashton Town who may not have been eligible to play in these games.
In each case the matter will be dealt with by the relevant County FA. Once the outcome of these investigations are known, the League's Discipline Committee will then decide on the course of action that will be taken as a result of the County FA's ruling. Â
