New Sports Centre Opens In Skem

Vodkat League clubs have been given the opportunity to sample the facilities at a new sports centre in Skelmersdale at a reduced rate, when it opens in February.
JMO Sports Park is a new sports centre being built at the Blaguegate Playing Fields site in Skelmersdale. On completion it will feature 8 five-a-side and 3 seven-a-side enclosed football pitches and one Full Size "FIFA Two Star Specification" pitch that will be available for both football and rugby. Every pitch will be floodlit and will feature a top specification 3G artificial grass playing surface.
The full size pitch is suitable for League Rugby and Football (up to FA step 7 level) and can also be hired for training or just for a friendly kick about. The centre is offering a limited number of 10 week block bookings too so if you are looking for a regular top specification venue for training then they could offer a solution.
For potential stars of tomorrow, there will be regular coaching sessions, holiday coaching courses, junior leagues and a children's party package great for just about any occasion.
The centre will boast a brand new clubhouse with a children's party room, conference facilities, modern changing rooms and a cafe lounge with live sky sports on multi-screen televisions. A variety of hot and cold drinks and snacks will be on offer for after games.
