League Milestones and Statistics: Saturday 13th September 2025

 

Overall Stats:

  • Abbey Hey’s goal in their 3-1 defeat at Wythenshawe was their 1,600th.
  • Litherland REMYCA conceded their 750th goal this week.
  • Longridge played their 250th game with the defeat at Pilkington.
  • Ramsbottom’s 3-3 with Stockport Town saw them score their 1,450th goal and concede their 1,200th.
  • Runcorn Town conceded their 900th goal in the 2-2 draw at Eccleshall.
  • Stockport Town conceded their 550th goal when they won at Pilkington.
  • Wythenshawe’s win against AFC Liverpool saw them hit 200 league games.
  • Allscott Heath’s second goal at Market Drayton was their 100th.
  • Droylsden reached 250 games when they beat Bacup Borough.
  • FC St Helens score their 250th goal in the win at Abbey Hey.

 

Home Stats:

  • Pilkington’s win against Longridge saw them hit their 200th home goal.

Goal Heroes:

  • Charlie Higgins with all three of FC isle of Man’s goals in the win against Charnock Richard, the clubs first since March 2023.
  • Connor Martin all three of Prestwich Heys goals in the 3-0 win against South Liverpool, first club triple since Greg Daniels hit four in November 23rd.
  • Tom Douglas netted three of Pilkington’s five against Longridge, again, first club tripe since April 23rd.

 

General Stats:

  • Atherton LR’s midweek defeat to Chadderton saw them fail to score for the first time in 31 games.
  • City of Liverpool kept their first clean sheet in 15 with the win at Padiham.
  • Alsager Town kept their first clean sheet in 12 games, winning 2-0 at Cheadle Heath Nomads.
  • Eccleshall drew their first game in 13 with the 2-2 against Runcorn Town.
  • Longridge suffered their first 3-5 defeat in 87 games (Droylsden away, 16/12/23).
  • Bacup Borough’s 1-6 defeat at Droylsden was the first of this score in 149 games (St Helens Town away, 24/02/22).
  • Cammell Laird 1907 last tasted a 2-5 defeat on 24/04/2019, going down at Nantwich Town.
  • Stockport Town drew 3-3 away for the first time since 28/04/18 (v St Helens Town).
  • Daisy Hill suffered their first 0-3 scoreline since 10/02/23, when they lost at home to Steeton.
  • Stockport Georgians 0-0 with Barnton was a repeat, to the date (09/09), in 2022 when they last had a 0-0.

 

Managers:

  • Richard Brodie took charge of his 100th Glossop side with the 2-1 win at Litherland REMYCA.
  • Martin Ryman will take charge of his 200th South Liverpool game, since they joined the NWCFL, with his next fixture. He was actually appointed August 2001.
