League Milestones and Statistics: Saturday, April 4th, 2026

 

Overall Stats:

  • Chadderton’s midweek win against FC Isle of Man was their 1,600th game in the NWCFL. The game also saw them score their 2,650th goal.
  • Daisy Hill reached 1,500 games in the NWCFL on Saturday with their win at Ashton Athletic.
  • Eccleshall notched their 1,150th game when going down 2-3 against Cammell Laird 1907.
  • FC Isle of Man’s defeat at Chadderton saw them concede their 400th goal.
  • In their win at Allscott Heat on Saturday, Foley Meir scored their 150th goal, and conceded their 150th goal.
  • Irlam’s win at Chadderton took them to 650 NWCFL games.
  • Litherland REMYCA reached 750 goals in their midweek win at Wythenshawe.
  • Market Drayton Town played their 100th game on Saturday.
  • New Mills reached 1,200 goals with their 3-0 defeat of Wolverhampton Casuals.
  • Pilkington’s goal in the 1-4 defat at Padiham was their 400th.

 

Home Stats:

  • Nelson scored their 1,250th goal in their midweek win against Maine Road.
  • Cheadle Heath Nomads reached 250 home goals on Saturday.

 

Away Stats:

  • Maine Road’s game at MSB Woolton was their 750th game away game.
  • New Mills reached 300 away games with their success against Wolverhampton Casuals.
  • Runcorn Town’s 2-2 at Stockport Georgians was their 50th away draw.

 

Goal Heroes:

  • Tobias Green scored three of Stockport Town’s five as they won at City of Liverpool last week on Tuesday.

 

General Stats:

  • Runcorn Town are currently on a 29-game unbeaten run in the league, which included 18 straight wins.
  • Atherton LR went 21 games unbeaten until defeat at home to Charnock Richard on Saturday, which included a run of 11 straight wins.
  • Nelson are on a run of 11 games unbeaten.
  • Barnoldswick Town have to go back to 16th April 2019 since their last 1-6 home defeat – that day it was a win for Congleton Town: a run of 159 home games.
  • Prior to Saturday, Ashton Town had not won an away league game 3-2 since August 2021 – they recorded a win against Atherton LR that day.
  • Steeton won their first ever NWCFL away game by a 4-0 scoreline on Saturday at Garstang: a total of 124 away league games.
  • West Didsbury & Chorlton broke a run of 72 games (league and cup) without a 0-0 scoreline with their win on penalties against Burscough in the Macron Cup Semi-Final.
