In what has been a busy mointh of fixtures across all three Divisions there have been a number of strong individual performances across the Month of September, which has made the Player of the Month awards a really tough call this month.  That said, Clubs have been strong in their support and submissions for the award nominations and there are three winners below who have all stood out and have been verified and confirmed by the NWCFL as award winners for the Month of September.  The Monthly awards across the three Divisions are as follows:

Premier Division

Player of the Month: Declan Daniels - Irlam FC
Position: forward
Games Played: 13
Man of the Match: 3
Goals: 13
Assists: 6
Declan's performances wer very much on the radar even prior to Irlams nomination and he has had a great month across a large number of games.  The club's nomination stated..... "An outstanding month from Declan, scoring in 11 league games from 12 with a total goal scoring tally of 13 in league fixtures. 3 man of the match awards. 6 assists for goals in league fixtures. 2 hat tricks vs AFC Liverpool and Cheadle Town."

Well done Declan!

First Division North

Player of the Month: Nathan Parish (Euxton Villa)
Position: Midfield
Games Played: 5
Man of the Match: 4
Goals: 2
Assists: 4

A good month for Euxton Villa who have kept the pressure on at the top of the First DIvision North Table and it is a player at their creative part of the field that won their award.  In their nomination statement, Euxton stated.... "Euxton Villa’s September Player of the Month is awarded to Australian born, Nathan Parish. In a Jekyll and Hyde month for the club, Nathan stood out as one consistent performer throughout every game. So much so, that he earned multiple player of the match awards from the opposition. Nathan has been renown for his close control and quick feet in midfield since being at the club. But this season he has added a steel to his game which has seen him take deeper roles to help his team mates with tackles, headers and interceptions now becoming synonymous with his game. However he still shows those attacking instincts when required upon, ending the month with an excellent first time half volleyed finish to help us to a 5-2 victory against Bacup Borough. Well done Nath".

We cannot argue with that, we have seen Nathan ourselves at games in September and he has had some outstanding performances.  Well done sir!

First Division South

Player of the Month: Ben Greenop (Ashville)
Position: striker
Games Played: 5
Man of the Match: 4
Goals: 5
Assists: 3

The First Division South winner for September is Ben Greenop of Ashville.  A month of solid performances won him the nomination from his club and that was backed up by the attache nomination statement.  "Ben has been in outstanding form this month 5 goals in 5 games including the FA Vase. All his goals have been different class, what's been more impressive is his work rate, he leave the lot on the pitch and give a whole hearted performance every game. Well done Ben!

Congratulations to all three Player of the Month winners across the Divisions.  Our League representatives will be out over the coming weeks to present you with your awards.
