League Milestones and Statistics: Saturday, January 31st, 2026

 

Overall Stats:

  • Atherton LR hit their 2,100th goal in beating FC isle of Man on Wednesday night.
  • Burscough’s big mid-week win at City of Liverpool saw them concede their 1,400th goal.
  • Barnoldswick’s 87th minute equaliser against Litherland was their 1,100th goal. The game also saw the visitors concede their 800th goal.
  • Shawbury conceded their 100th goal with the defeat at Alsager Town.

 

Home Stats:

  • Cammell Laird 1907 played their 200th home game on Saturday.
  • South Liverpool’s mid-week win against Pilkington allowed them to hit score 150th home goal, from 91 games.
  • Longridge’s defeat to Stockport Town was their 50th at home.

 

Away Stats:

  • Atherton LR’s win at Padiham was their 750th away game.

 

Goal Heroes:

  • Joel Booth (Euxton Villa), three of his sides five against Abbey Hey.
  • Daniel Ventre (MSB Woolton) with three the top five clash against Droylsden
  • Miles Storey (Colne), three of his sides five against AFC Blackpool.
  • Ethan Pickford (Haughmond) with his second triple of the season, this time netting three against Cheadle Heath Nomads.
  • Oliver McFadyen (Stockport Georgians) three goals helping his side into the Edward Case Cup semi-final in the nine-goal thriller at Maghull.

 

General Stats:

  • Winning streaks (current): Prem, Atherton LR with four; North, Bacup Borough on three; and in the South, Runcorn Town with nine (including a run of six away wins on the trot).
  • Clean Sheet Kings (League games):
    • Prem: Ryan Forde (Wythenshawe) 11 in 30 games.
    • North: James Whittingham (AFC Blackpool) 6 in 14 appearances and Matthew Bailey (Holker OB) 6 in 17 games.
    • South: William Ebbrell (Runcorn Town) 12 in 19 appearances
  • The last time Abbey Hey lost 4-5 was in November 2010, at home to Oldham Boro.
  • Colne’s last 5-1 NWCFL home win, prior to the midweek win against AFC Blackpool was against Runcorn Town in January 2015.
