League Milestones and Statistics: Saturday, 24^th January

Overall Stats:

• Cammell Laird 1907 conceded their 800^th NWCFL goal (from 403 games) in the defeat to Haughmond. This game was also their 200^th at home.
• Pilkington’s midweek defeat to Euxton was their 100^th in the league.
• South Liverpool’s second goal in their defeat at FC Isle of Man was their 300^th in the NWCFL.

Home Stats:

• FC Isle of Man notched up their 100^th home game on Saturday evening.
• Sandbach United scored their 350^th home goal in the big win against Telford Town.

Away Stats:

• Bacup Borough’s opening goal in their win at Colne was their 1,050^th on the road.

Goal Heroes:

• Joe Bevan is our only Goal Hero this week. He hit FOUR of Sandbach Utd’s six at home to Telford Town. This is his third triple (or more) of the season, with five against Haughmond and three against Wolverhampton Sporting Community.

General Stats:

• Chadderton’s 1-4 defeat at AFC Liverpool saw history repeat itself, the last time they lost 1-4 away was on 21/12/2019 – at AFC Liverpool!
• The last time Squires Gate won 5-3 at home was in the last century - 18/08/1998, that day they defeated Darwen.
• Sandbach Utd won 6-0 for the first time in 164 games, beating Abbey Hulton at home that day, 26/03/2022.
