League Stats and Milestone Update to Saturday 25th November 2023

More games this week, but not too many milestones to report- so here goes….

Overall Stats

  • Ashton Town’s mi-week win at Darwen was their 1,350th game. It was also Darwen’s 100th home defeat in 237 games.
  • Sandbach Utd’s win at Maine Road was their 250th game.

Home Stats

Skelmersdale conceded their 800th home goal in the midweek defeat to Colne, coming in their 506th home game.

Away Stats

Eccleshall’s win at Market Drayon took them to 100 victories on the road from their 351 games.

Goal Heroes

Three triples and a quadruple in the Premier Division:

  • Greg Daniels with four for Prestwich Heys as they beat Litherland REMYCA.
  • Bryan Ly with three of Wythenshawe’s four mid-week goals as they overcame West Didsbury & Chorlton.
  • Ryan Bolton with three for Colne in their win at Skelmersdale and Lucas Weaver, also for Colne with three against AFC Liverpool
  • Akram Lasalire got Shelley’s first triple in their Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior Cup win against Athersley Recreation.
  • Regan Smith (Brocton) hit three in the win against Cheadle Heath Nomads. This made him the first player in the South Division to score three triples this season.

Bits and Pieces

  • AFC Blackpool secured their first home win of the season with the 4-1 success against Garstang.
  • One I missed. On 4th November, Scott McGowan scored for Stockport Town in their win at Market Drayton. Hiis 200th goal whilst playing in the NWC, Cup and League. Congratulations Scott.
