League Statistician Kevin Lawton has cast his eye across the weekeneds results and compiled the latest Stats and Milestones achieved around the NWCFL Clubs.
Stats and Milestone Update to Saturday 30th September 2023
Overall Milestones
Eccleshall’s defeat a Sandbach was their 350th.
Bury FC played their 100th game with the midweek win against FC Isle of Man.
Holker Old Boys 4th goal in their 7-1 win against Runcorn Town was their 1,900th.
Cheadle Heath Nomads hit their 600th goal when Daniel Lewis scored in the 68th minute to give his side a 3-0 win at Barnton.
Home Milestones
AFC Blackpool lost their 300th home game when going down to Daisy Hill.
Away Milestones
Irlam won their 100th away game with the 5-1 success at Padiham.
Goal Heroes
Three in the Premier Division this week -
Declan Daniels hit his third triple of season for Irlam as they beat Cheadle 2-5 in their midweek game.
Chigozie Ewelike hit all three of Wythenshawe Town’s goals with the win against Kendal Town.
Dean Ing hit his first Longridge hat-trick, netting all three in the 3-2 win against AFC Liverpool.
Three also in the First Division North.
Anees Yunis hit FOUR for Route One Rovers as they beat Garstang 6-2, incredibly, the sixth his side have recorded so far.
Callum Mahoney with Ashton Athletics’ first triple of the season with a 5-0 victory over Nelson. It was Ashton’s first since March 2020.
Joseph Barker hit FC St Helens first triple with the 5-0 win against Steeton, he actually scored four of the five.
Goal Scorers Stat
This weekend their were 115 goals across the three divisions with a total of 89 different goal scorers.
Attendance milestone
This week the total attendance at NWCFL games this season passed the 100,000 mark – currently sits on 107,531.
