Zach Clarke Steps Down as Garstang Boss after two years

First Division North Club, Garstang are on the lookout for a new Manager following the news coming out of the club overnight that Manager, Zach Clarke has stepped down from the role after two years.  The club are currently twelfth in the First Division North Table with 16 points from their 13 games and currently eight points away from the play-off zone.

A statement released by the club overnight states:

"The Board of Directors of Garstang Football Club have today reluctantly accepted the resignation of First Team Manager, Zach Clark."

"Everyone associated with GFC would like to place on record their thanks to Zach for his leadership over the past 2 years taking charge of 74 games. Under Zach’s leadership the club has continued to progress and he leaves with the clubs best wishes."

"In the interim period, First Team Assistant Manager, Andrew Killeen along with Sam Gallagher will take temporary leadership of the team.  A board meeting will take place this week to discuss the recruitment of a new First Team Manager and a further statement will be released in due course. We have two very important games up next, so please support us under Andy and Sam on Wednesday at Longridge, and this Saturday as we make the journey to take on Route One Rovers."
