Fixture Changes #23

With the bad weather, postponements and rearrangements, there have been a massive 88 fixture changes over the last two weeks. Apologies for the lack of update last week which was down to computer issues (laptop died!).

53 games that were previously postponed have been given new dates, the majority from the start of the bad weather a few weeks ago. The Third Round of the Macron Cup which was wiped out in its entirety and the outstanding Eccleshall v Abbey Hey game in the Edward Case Cup will all take place on Saturday 21st January. Previous league fixtures for this date have been given new dates. There are eight Premier Division, eleven First Division North and eight First Division South games outstanding, mostly from postponements in the last week that will be given new dates shortly.

The abandoned game between Atherton LR and Bacup Borough will be replayed, this taking place on Tuesday 10th January. There are also four new County Cup ties after our teams progressed, these involving Ashton Athletic, Barton, Northwich Victoria, West Didsbury & Chorlton and Barnoldswick Town.

Six ties have changed kick off times, three of which are on Boxing Day with the games at Cammell Laird 1907, Irlam and Northwich Victoria kicking off early. The day after, the 27th December, sees Ilkley Town kick off early, whilst there are 2.00pm kick offs for Rocester on the 7th January and Wythenshawe Amateurs on the 4th February.

Padiham v Avro has been brought forward to 14th January to fill a free Saturday for both clubs, with two clubs agreeing between themselves to move games previously on 3rd January. Eccleshall v Maine Road has moved back a day to 4th January with Padiham v Prestwich Heys now on 17th January. Northwich Victoria v Bury AFC is now on 30th December.

Lower Breck v West Didsbury & Chorlton has been moved to 9th February with Stockport Georgians v Wythenshawe Amateurs on 10th January. Both of these were moved to accomodate other fixtures. Prestwich Heys v Kendal Town has been brought forward a week to 24th January, with Bury AFC v Vauxhall Motors moving back 24 hours to Sunday 12th March, that due to a clash with Radcliffe.
