Charnock Richard have been awarded the NWCFL Premier Club of the Month award, after an outstanding December saw them keep pace at the top of the division.
Emerging from a tricky run of away fixtures with two wins and a draw- two 2-0 victories at Nortwich Victoria and Padiham coming either side of a 1-1 draw at Squires Gate- means Ryan Donnellan's side sit third in the Premier and will have an eye on Skelmersdale United and Macclesfield respectively.
The Lancashire club's next game is on the 8th January, at home to fellow high-flyers Avro.
