Maine Road FC have confirmed that Reeds Rains Estate Agents will remain the club's main sponsor for the coming season.

The renewal of the deal means that the club can rely on support from Reeds Rains for the third successive season.

The club received a further boost when Didsbury Blues, the Didsbury branch of the Manchester City Supporters' Club, agreed to sponsor the first team's new Black & Red change strip.  A number of extra shirts will be produced, in order that Branch members can purchase one.

Dave Miller from the Maine Road F.C. committee attended their Branch meeting at Didsbury Cricket Club and was formally presented with a cheque for £400.

Speaking about the sponsorship deals, Dave said: As ever the club are extremely grateful to Reeds Rains for their assistance and would encourage everyone connected to Maine Road FC in particular, and members of the NWCFL generally, to use their services whenever property matters are being considered.

The Reeds Rains logo will continue to feature on the first team home shirt, in the Matchday Programme and on the web-site.

On the evening I attended the branch meeting of the Didsbury Blues, coincidentally the guest of honour on the night was former Manchester City Director Ian Niven.  Ian recalled being a regular in the Lord Lyon pub on Claremont Road, and being instrumental in assisting Frank Thompson in the formation of the City Supporters Rusholme team that eventually went on to become Maine Road FC.”

Road will also continue to receive support from both the Reddish Blues and the Dublin Branch of the Manchester City Supporters Club for the coming season.
