League Milestones and Statistics: Sunday 26th October 2025

 

Overall Stats:

  • Atherton LR reached 1,500 games with the 2-1 defeat at South Liverpool. Their goal was also their 2,100th.
  • Nelson’s midweek win at Steeton was their 1,350th game
  • Ashton Athletics’ defeat to Colne was their 850th game in the NWCFL and their 200th loss at home.
  • Bacup Bourgh’s 2-2 at Maghull was their 350th draw
  • Wythenshawe’s Tuesday night defeat at home to FC St Helens was their 50th overall loss. 

Home Stats:

  • Steeton’s Tuesday night loss to Nelson was their 50th home league defeat.

Away Stats:

  • Padiham scored their 900th away goal in their 3-2 midweek win at Chadderton.

Goal Heroes:

  • Jacob Holland-Wilkinson with his second hat-trick of the season for Ramsbottom United in their 4-0 win against Abbey Hey.
  • Ryan Knott with three for Allscott Heath in their midweek 5-0 win against Wolverhampton Sporting. The clubs first hat-trick since 30th November last year.
  • Josh Abbott, three for Darwen as they beat Garstang, his second of the season.
  • Liam Sheppard hit all three of Daisy Hill’s triple in the win at Thornton Cleveleys. The clubs first hat-trick since 2nd April 2022. 

General Stats:

  • New Mills fans have to go back to 8th March 2008 to have seen their side win 7-0. That day it was Ashton Town who were defeated at home.
  • Wolves Sporting Community drew their first game in 29 matches with the 2-2 against Eccleshall.
  • Barnoldswick fans have had to wait 239 games for a 6-1 win, last achieved on 7th August 2021 against Runcorn Town.
  • Squires Gate last suffered a 2-5 defeat on 12th October 2021, 195 games ago. They went down at home to Irlam that day.

Managers Records – Coming up:

  • Richard Brown’s next game in charge of Shawbury will be his 100th.
