Weekend 14 in the NWCFL saw no cup action with action focused on the league for all clubs.
Premier Division
Padiham remain top of the Premier Division but slumped to their second league defeat of the season as they lost 2-0 to Prestwich Heys at home. Louis Holt scored both for Heys with goals coming either side of the break.
Ramsbottom United are just two points behind them after an emphatic 4-0 win over Abbey Hey. A first half hat-trick from Jacob Holland-Wilkinson put them in control before a stoppage time penalty rounded off the scoring.
West Didsbury & Chorlton are third after a 3-1 home win against fifth placed Burscough, that game seeing an own goal for either side. And between those two sides in the other Play-Off spot is Wythenshawe who won 2-1 at bottom placed Litherland REMYCA.
The biggest win of the day came at Barnoldswick Town who beat Pilkington 6-1, with Gareth Hill and Connor McAuley both scoring twice. Longridge Town almost matched that scoreline in a 5-1 win over Irlam, with Matthew Van Wyk scoring a brace for them.
FC Isle of Man had a successful trip to the mainland with a 2-1 win at City of Liverpool. And AFC Liverpool also won on the road as they beat Chadderton 1-0. Glossop North End beat Charnock Richard 2-0, with South Liverpool hitting a stoppage time winner to beat Atherton LR 2-1.
FC St Helens came from behind to draw 1-1 at home to Stockport Town, whilst Euxton Villa and Cheadle Town also played out a 1-1 draw.
First Division North
Nelson are the new leaders in the First Division North after a 2-0 home win against Ashton Town, their 12th straight win in all competitions. They jumped up to top spot after a Joshua Coe double helped give Steeton a 3-1 win at Droylsden, and Maghull drew 2-2 at home to Bacup Borough.
Holker Old Boys are fourth after they came from behind to 3-2 at home to Maine Road. And Darwen occupy the final Play-Off spot after a convincing 4-0 win at home to bottom placed Garstang with Joshua Abbott grabbing a hat-trick.
Ashton Athletic are level at the bottom after a 3-1 home defeat to Colne, with MSB Woolton just above them after a 2-1 defeat at AFC Blackpool. Down the M55, the biggest win of the day came from Fulwood Amateurs who beat Squires Gate 5-2, with Spencer Lucas and Charlie Howarth both scoring twice.
The final game brought the only hat-trick of the day in the division, with Liam Sheppard grabbing all three goals for Daisy Hill as they won 3-2 at Thornton Cleveleys.
First Division South
Leaders Runcorn Town bounced back to winning ways with an emphatic 4-0 home win against Wolverhampton Casuals, with Shaquille Lewys scoring a brace in that game. Telford Town are four points behind with a game in hand after a 2-1 win at Barnton.
Stockport Georgians dropped a place to third after being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Market Drayton Town, with Eccleshall in fourth after a 2-2 draw at Wolverhampton Sporting Community. That game saw Danny Glover give Eccleshall a stoppage time lead, only for an own goal to level matter minutes later. Stafford Town round off the Play-Off spots after a 3-0 home win against Cammell Laird 1907.
New Mills were the biggest winners of the day in the South division, with a 7-0 home win against Shawbury United. Bobby Carter and Maysan Benarbia both scored twice in that game, with three of the seven goals coming in stoppage time.
Foley Meir won 4-1 at second bottom Haughmond with Jay Finney scoring twice for Foley. Sandbach United beat Cheadle Heath Nomads 1-0 with Ashville also securing a home win as they beat Alsager Town 2-1.
