NWCFL First Division South side Wythenshawe Amateurs have announced that former Mansfield Town striker Graham Leishman has been appointed as their new forward's coach.

The 51-year old Salford-born played for Irlam Town in the Northern Premier League in the mid-'80s, whilst ending his career with Atherton LR.

A statement from the club said, "We are delighted to announce the arrival of Graham Leishman as our new forward's coach. Graham comes with a great pedigree, his previous clubs include Mansfield Town, Altrincham, Gainsborough Trinity and Gateshead.

Graham gave the clubs website his thoughts on last Wednesday's win, “It was a great result last night, we showed good fighting spirit to win. It doesn't matter how good the team is in front of you, we still have to beat them. It's great to be on board, onwards and upwards.”
