Alsager Town have announced the appointment of Andy Turner as manager, following the unexpected resignation of John Brown at the end of the 2011-12 season.
Andy has a wealth of experience as a coach at both Kidsgrove Athletic and Chasetown.
He was a former Tottenham Hotspur midfield player who was at one time the youngest player to score in the Premiership when at the age of 17 years 166 days he scored against Everton. He then had spells with Portsmouth and Rotherham as well as numerous loan clubs and non league clubs. Andy also represented the Republic of Ireland 9 times at under 21 level.
