New Management Team Appointed At Formby

Formby FC have announced the appointment of a new management team for the coming season.

Kevin Dally and Jim Shirley will take charge of first team affairs, and come in to their roles having steered Formby's youth team to a spectacular double last season, being champions of the North West Youth Alliance First Division and winning the First Division Trophy as well.

Spokesperson for the club Tony Rowan said: "Jim and Kev have proven themselves capable of bringing out young talent and shaping a squad that produces top class results. This, coupled with their strong record of commitment to the club, makes us confident and very positive about what the next season will bring.

"We also want to express our gratitude for the valiant work of Michael Joyce who acted as caretaker manager, with his assistant Lee Hollywood, for the second half of last season, and we wish them the great success they deserve in future".

The new regime will be also be assisted by the appointment of Paul Mullin as Fitness and Strength Conditioning Coach.
