Bootle v Everton DVD Now Available

A DVD of the Bootle v Everton game in the Liverpool Cup is now available from Bootle FC, priced at £5 (exclusive of postage and packing). The DVD and remaining copies of the match programme (priced £2) will also be on sale at each of the Bucks next few home games.
The success of the evening has prompted the club to write formally to Everton FC with a proposal for a pre-season game between the two clubs, which could possibly turn into an annual event. Bootle's Head of Club Development Ian Porter said that from the moment the Liverpool Cup tie draw was announced, Everton FC had been tremendously supportive.
"With regards to the staff, management and players of Everton Football Club, not only did they handle themselves superbly well on the night, they have been without exception an absolute joy to work and communicate with before, during and after the game", he said.
"And as if that wasn't enough, the Blues have also informed us that they will not be claiming their share of the gate receipts for the night, which is another fantastic gesture and one that we are exceptionally grateful for".
