The majority of our Premier Division clubs will appear in the the Emirates FA Cup, the world's oldest Cup competition, in August after the FA announced the Emirates FA Cup entries for the 2025/26 Season.

19 of our 20 clubs have applied to enter the competition and all have been accepted into it as expected. FC Isle of Man are the only Premier Division team not to have applied, and they have yet to play in the competition since their formation in 2019

Every NWCFL who has entered the competition has done so before, with First Division North Champions Nelson making their first appearance in the competition since the 2017/18 season.

Once again no Step 6 sides have been accepted once more, meaning that all of the sides in our First Division North and South once again miss out on entry.

A total of 743 clubs have been accepted, which is down four compared to last season. The most accepted was 758 which was those accepted in the 2012/13 season.

The Emirates FA Cup kicks off on Saturday 8th August, which is a week later than last season. The draws for the Extra Preliminary Round and Preliminary Round is expected to be announced on Friday 3rd July.
