Isuzu FA Vase Third Round Draw
Mon 10th November 2025 | FA Challenge Vase | By Media Team
The FA have today released the draw details for the Third Round of the 2025/26 Isuzu FA Vase.
Nine of our member Clubs progressed through to this round of the competition on Saturday, and due to the nature of the regionalised groups until the last 16 stage, its a nightmare draw with three all-NWCFL ties in the Third Round.
It's an all Premier Division affair as Chadderton welcome Burscough. Both sides are doing well this season with Burscough sitting in the Play-Off positions as things stand and Chadderton in ninth but with plenty of games in hand on all the sides above them. The two sides met in the league just two weeks ago with Chaddy winning a close game 1-0.
There's also an East Lancashire Derby as Premier Division leaders Ramsbottom United host First Division North high flyers Nelson. It should whet the appetite this one as despite the relatively short distance between the two sides, this will be only their second meeting in 15 years!
The other all-NWCFL tie means we are guaranteed a First Division North side in the last 32 as Droylsden host Fulwood Amateurs. The Bloods will be looking to reach the Fourth Round for the first time in their history whilst Fulwood are in unknown territory with this being their first season in the FA Vase. The two met last weekend in a seven goal thriller that Fulwood won 4-3.
Quarter Finalists four years ago, West Didsbury & Chorlton will travel to NCEL side Rossington Main who beat Carlisle City on penalties on Saturday to progress. Rossington are struggling in the league this season in 19th place in their league, but have performed well in the Vase. West sit in third place in our Premier Division.
South Liverpool also travel across the Pennines to NCEL side Albion Sports who knocked out Holker Old Boys on Saturday. Albion are also not having their best season league wise as they sit in 15th place in the league table, with South currently just two points off the Play-Offs in our Premier Division in 8th place.
The final game sees Prestwich Heys travel to our current First Division South Champions Winsford United. The Blues were laterally moved to the Midland League in the summer such is the make up of Steps 5 and 6 in the North these days, and they sit just outside the Play-Offs in 7th. Prestwich are in 14th in our Premier Division.
