League Milestones and Statistics to Saturday 2nd August 2025

Overall Stats

• Ashton Town’s game at Colne was their 1,400th in the NWCFL.
• AFC Liverpool’s opening day defeat to Irlam saw them concede their 1,100th goal.
• Cheadle Heath Nomads conceded their 400th goal in losing at Stockport Georgians.
• Foley Meir scored their 100th goal when they drew 2-2 with Telford Town, it was also their 50th at home.

Home Stats

• Cheadle Heath Nomads 3-0 win against Foley Meir was their 50th at the Ideal Building Systems Stadium.

Away Stats

• Barnoldswick Town’s opening day defeat at Cheadle Town was their 150th loss on the road (from 310 games).
• Euxton Villa have now notched up 50 away games.
• Droylsden conceded their 200th away goal in the 3-4 defeat at Maghull.
• Stafford Town’s third goal in their 4-1 win at Cammell Laird 1907 was their 100th on the road.

Goal Heroes

We still await our first triple of the season, but the first goal of the season was scored in the third minute of the opening day’s fixtures, three Prem players share the honour: Jacob Holland-Wilkinson (Atherton LR), George Kattah (South Liverpool) and Freddie Machell (Wythenshawe)

General Stats

• Thornton Cleveleys played out their first NWCFL 0-0 at Darwen on the opening day.
• Ben Hoskin (Nelson) has now played 400 games whilst in the NWCFL.
• Burscough’s 0-1 defeat at Charnock Richard was the first time they have failed to score in 25 games.
