Last Monday, Cheadle Town announced that Liam Brownhill and Danny Meadowcroft had been appointed joint managers at NWCFL First Division South side Cheadle Town.
Brownhill, 32, will be taking up a player-manager role at Park Road Stadium and is hoping his wealth of experience can help the team, "We want to build a team this year and see where it takes up. Next season promotion is the target- 100%."
The former Bangor City, FC United of Manchester and Trafford defender is just 10 days into his first managerial role but if relishing the challenge, "It is an experience I couldn’t turn down really like I say been in non-league since I was 16 and played at the top of it for England C so passing my experience on to my players will be key.
"Danny has lots of experience as well winning this league as player-manager at Barnton he’s a great addition to Cheadle Town - he's the perfect man for the job.
"Well, we are only one game in [a 4-2 loss away at high flyers Vauxhall Motors] so we will take each game at a time and hopefully start moving up the table."
Cheadle Town are next in action on Saturday in the league when they face Abbey Hulton United at home (3:00 pm) kick-off.
