League Stats and Milestone Update to Sunday 24th March 2024

Overall Stats

  • Ilkley Town played their 100th game when the beat Steeton on Saturday.
  • Nelson’s defeat at home to Daisy Hill was their 550th loss in the league and their 650th home game.
  • Stockport Town have now played 300 games, reaching the milestone with the win against Abbey Hey.
  • Pilkington conceded their 250th NWCFL goal in losing at home to Burscough.
  • Shelley reached the 100-game milestone with the defeat to Euxton.

Home Stats

  • Ashton Athletic played their 400th home game with the win against Garstang.
  • Prestwich Heys win against Longridge was their 200th home game.

Away Stats

  • Barnoldswick’s draw at Glossop was their 50th away from home.
  • Brocton’s opening goal in their win at Maine Road was their 100th.

Goal Heroes

  • Rajwinder Uppal with this week’s only triple, three goals for Euxton as they beat Shelley 5-0 away. This was his second of the season.

 

Manager Milestone

  • Paul Marshall took charge of his 100th game when his Cheadle Town side met Hyde Utd in the semi-final of the Cheshire Senior Cup
