The League Management Committee would like to remind Level 7, 6 and 5 referees that there are opportunities to officiate in our league in season 2018-19.
As many will now be aware, during season 2017/18 the North West Counties Football League, also known as The Hallmark Security League, were successful in their application to The Football Association to run a new Step 6 Division in the North West and surrounding areas, which will give the opportunity for additional Assistant Referees on two Step 6 Divisions, North and South from August 2018.
The addition of the new clubs now means that both Step 6 divisions now have 20 clubs in each.
We therefore wish to invite Level 7, 6 or 5 Referees to register for the new Supply League Structure to gain experience as an Assistant Referee on a Step 6 League in a stadium environment.
This has the approval of all relevant County FA Referee Development Officers We do not wish to disrupt your usual Saturday refereeing appointments, but would expect mid-week night availability and at least one Saturday per month. We would like to offer you the opportunity of Officiating at a higher level than what you are currently officiating at the moment.
You may be a Promotion Candidate, of which these Assistant Referee appointments will count towards your promotion, or you may just wish to officiate at a higher level than what you are doing now.
