The eighth time for a 9-1 home win

Charnock Richard's 9–1 win over AFC Darwen in the Premier Division on Tuesday evening was the eighth time in League history that a club has recorded that score at home in a league game.

It's been almost seven years since the last occurrence of a 9-1 home win, when Runcorn Town beat Daisy Hill in February 2011, although Irlam did win 9-1 away at Nelson on 6th August 2011.  

The previous other occasions that 9-1 home wins were recorded are as follows:
