In response to a number of enquiries, League Fixtures Secretary John Reid has confirmed the planned timescales in relation to the issuing of fixtures for the coming season.
On Friday 7th July, the FA will release the draws for the early rounds in the FA Cup and FA Vase, and from there the League's fixture scheduling can begin.
It is necessary to wait for the release of the FA competitions fixtures to identify those clubs exempt in certain rounds, and also to slot in the FA Cup and FA Vase fixtures alongside league fixtures, to avoid clubs playing each other twice in two weeks.
The League fixtures for the whole of August only will be issued during next week.
The target date for issuing the remaining League fixtures from September onwards is Friday 21st July.
