Garstang are offering free admission to all Morecambe FC season ticket holders for their NWCFL First Division North fixture against Fulwood Amateurs on Saturday 16th August.
The club provided the following comments: We have been watching all the events unfolding at the Mazuma Stadium and are saddened to see what is happening to a brilliant, local club with a rich history. The club has been a massive help to us over the years, with strong links between our two clubs.
We hope that Morecambe fans will enjoy a game at The Riverside as they are unable to watch their own team at the moment.
Everyone at the club wishes the fans, players and staff of Morecambe all the best and hope the situation can be resolved soon.
Chairman Adrian Wilding said, "I am sad to see what is happening to Morecambe FC. The club has helped us massively over the years and I was proud to sponsor the club for many years. I hope this gesture will see Morecambe fans enjoy a match at what is a very good standard."
