Premier Division side Barnoldswick Town have appointed former Northwich Victoria Manager, Steve Pickup as their new First Team Manager. Steve left The Vics in early March after a number of logistical issues brought on by the clubs latteral move to another Step 5 League. He takes on the role following the recent departure of Craig Bradshaw who left the role over the weekend due to work and family commitments.
A statement from the club released overnight reads:
"Barnoldswick Town FC are pleased to announce Steve Pickup has been appointed as First Team Manager. Steve is no stranger to the NWCFL and has a background in professional football. He has previously managed at Colne FC, Padiham and most recently at Northwich Victoria and is keen to get going with Barlick'. Steve also brings with him a familiar face to Town as Lewis Cornett arrives as Goalkeeping Coach."
