Joe Barker of FC St Helens has been presented with his Player of the Month award for December 2022.
League Director and Head of Discipline Ian Williams visited Joe at a recent home game to present him with his award.

FIRST DIVISION NORTH - JOE BARKER (FC ST HELENS)
Hot on the heels of FC St Helens' first ever Player of the Month award is their second, with Joe Barker picking up the award.
Joe has had a terrfic season overall but has put in some great performances in January. The first game of the month at Steeton saw FC St Helens win 3-1, with Joe not only picking up Man of the Match but also scoring the club's first ever hat-trick since joining the NWCFL at the start of the season.
He also scored two goals in the 3-1 win at home to Nelson, taking him to the 20 goal mark for the season, and he was named at the FC St Helens Man of the Match in both of the final two games of the month. These were a 4-0 win over Euxton Villa that saw his team into the Macron Cup Quarter Finals, and a 1-1 draw at Bamber Bridge where his team were seconds away from going through, a stoppage time equaliser and a penalty shoot out denying them.
Throw in three assists in the month for Joe from the seven other goals the club scored in the month, and Joe is a worthy winner of this award.
