League statistician, Kevin Lawton has crunched the numbers from last weekends games and come up with the latest milestone around the NWCFL - Stats to Saturday 09/10/21
Total Milestones
Bacup Borough’s 5-0 win at home to Ashton Town was their 2100th league success, Cammell Laird 1907 drew their 50th game with the 1-1 result at Cheadle Town and Macclesfield FC’s 1-0 win at Wythenshawe Town saw the home club concede their 100th goal.
Home and Away Milestones
Two milestones in the Barnoldswick v Congleton game. Barlick scored their 450th home goal whilst the Bears scored their 750th away goal. Skelmersdale won their 150th away game with the win at Lower Breck and finally, St Helens defeat at Chadderton was their 350th on the road (in 769 games)
Goal Heroes (League and Cup)
Declan Daniels hit three for Burscough in their 6-4 win at AFC Liverpool and Sean Doyle (FC Isle of Man) hit all four as his side won 4-0 at Eccleshall, whilst Louis Edwards (Maine Road) and Saul Henderson (Wythenshawe Amateurs) both hit three, in the case of Saul, it was, incredibly, his FIFTH of the season!!!
