After 728 days, NWCFL Premier Division manager steps down

On Thursday evening it was confirmed that Brian Pritchard had stepped down as manager of NWCFL Premier Division side Congleton Town after nearly two year's in charge.

A statement from the club says, "Congleton Town Football Club wishes to advise that Brian Pritchard has resigned as team manager with effect from 31st October.

The club is very grateful for the commitment Brian has shown to the club and wishes him well in the future.

The club has appointed Chris Rowley and Anthony Griffiths as joint team managers who take up their new roles with immediate effect.’

Their first game in charge will be on Saturday when they take on Maine Road in the FA Vase.
