The League Management Committee has now made a decision regarding the outstanding Premier Division fixture from the 2011-12 season between Bacup Borough and Colne.

The League's Discipline Committee considered a written submission on behalf of the Club, but the case against Bacup Borough failing to fulfil their fixture against Colne on Wednesday 3rd May 2012 was proven.

The Management Committee have therefore ruled that Bacup Borough will be fined and have had three points deducted from their record.  The three points from the outstanding fixture will be awarded to Colne, and the league table for season 2011-12 will be completed on that basis.

Bacup Borough have the right of appeal to The Football Association as per League Rule 17.4, whose decision would be final and binding on all parties.

At any appeal hearing, a Club must prove that the Management Committee are wrong in applying the Rule, and this should be done as laid out in the Regulations for Football Association Appeals as per page 64 in the League Handbook.

Bacup Borough have indicated to the League that they will be pursuing the appeal.
