After the weekend's NWCFL fixtures, the action returned on Monday evening for the first night of four as The Emirates FA Cup and The Buildbase FA Vase took centre stage again - with a hint of league action thrown into the mix.

Monday night saw Winsford United host Northern Premier League side Ramsbottom United at CW7 in the Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round Replay. However, they were defeated 3-1 as they exited the competition thanks to a Ruben Jerome hat-trick.

Just 24 hours later, two more NWCFL sides saw FA Cup defeats, Stalybridge Celtic came from behind to defeat West Didsbury & Chorlton 3-2 and Marine beat Padiham 3-0.

However, on Wednesday night, two goals in the last five minutes saw Runcorn Town turn the tie on its head against Northern Premier League side Radcliffe - a side 27 places and two leagues higher than Paul McManus' side - to win the game 2-1 and to progress to the First Qualifying Round for the fifth time in their history.

After their 1-1 draw at the Fantastic Media Ground on Sunday, Burscough and Emley AFC battled out once again in the FA Vase 1st Qualifying Round and we finally had a winner after 210 minutes of play. A late Rob Boardman goal found its way into the net as Emley progressed - winning 2-1 to set up a tie against NCEL Division One side Winterton Rangers.

Finally, league action returned to the First Division North as St Helens Town hosted Holker Old Boys on Thursday - the game ended goalless with 94 spectators watching on.

In just over 24 hours, the action returns with five Emirates FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round fixtures, 8 The PlayerMatch.com Cup 1st Round matches, and 14 games across the NWCFL Premier Division, First Division North and South.
