Litherland REMYCA - the club has announced that James Olsen has stepped down as manager.

He will continue to assist the club as required with technical and coaching input.  Phil Stafford, who has recently returned to the club will assume managerial duties and prepare the team for the next game at home to 1874 Northwich.

Chairman Don Rimmer stated: ”We would like to thank James for his contribution to the REMY . He is an elite level coach who has played the game at the highest level and we have benefited from this experience.  We wish him well for the future”.

T J Vickers Premier Cup - both St Martins and Ellesmere Rangers have been given home draws in the Quarter Finals of the Shropshire FA TJ Vickers Premier Cup.

The draw, which was made by Greg Clarke, Chairman of the FA and Matt Coles, Director of T J Vickers, gave St Martins a home tie against Shawbury United, while Ellesmere Rangers will host the winners of the tie between Shifnal Town and Haughmond. The matches are to be played on or before February 28th 2019.  

Prestwich Heys - Heys will be welcoming back Alfie Belcher to Adie Moran Park at Christmas. 

Currently on a scholarship in America, Alfie scored 19 goals in 43 appearances for Heys last season, but is flying home for the festive season and will be available to Heys for seven weeks.

Wythenshawe Boxing Day derby - Wythenshawe Amateurs are anticipating a record crowd for the Wythenshawe derby against neighbours Wythenshawe Town in the First Division South clash on Boxing Day at Hollyhedge Park.

This is the first ever semi professional derby, with the clubs' last meeting being back in 2013, with Amateurs being the victors on that occasion.

The club are urging supporters to arrive early for the "Christmas El Clasico" and to use overspill car parks.

Sandbach United - the club are hosting a Christmas Football Camp day this coming Friday 21st December.  There will be competitions and presents to be won, and the day runs from 9 am to 3.30 pm.

Northwich Victoria - Vics supporters are running a 57 seater coach for travel to the Buildbase FA Vase match at Newcastle Benfield on Saturday 5th January 2019. Anyone wishing to travel is urged to book a place soon.
