Atherton LR - League Statistician Paul Cowburn notes that LR's win last midweek over AFC Blackpool was the first home win in 19 games , in all competitions.  The last victory at Crilly Park was on 24th March 2018 against..........AFC Blackpool, in a league game where LR won 4-3.

Barnoldswick Town - Barlick's 9-4 win over Eccleshall in the Macron Cup on Tuesday night was a historic moment in league history, as it is the first time that a score of 9-4 has been recorded since the league was formed in 1982.

The nearest we had come to that score previously was on the 12th February 2011, when Atherton LR won 10-4 against Formby at Crilly Park in a Premier Division game, and on the 14th September 2013 Nelson won 8-4 at home to Oldham Boro in a Divison One game.

The game at Barnoldswick was the ninth time in league history that 13 goals have been scored in a game.

Prestwich Heys - Lee Bruce and Darius Photiou were presented with awards recognising their passing of club appearance milestones, prior to last weekend's home game with Holker Old Boys,

Darius has passed 150 appearances and is now in his sixth season with the club, and Lee has passed 100 games for Heys, and is now in his fourth season. In two of those three seasons Lee finished top scorer, and the one year he didn't saw him miss a large number of games through injury.

1874 Northwich - the club has announced that Taylor Kennerley has signed a contract with the Club.

A statement on the club website said: "Taylor’s consistency and attitude has really kicked on and he has become an important figure for our first team after originally representing the 1874 U21 side.

"With Taylor being a Northwich lad, this matter further strengthens an aim of the Club by having a pathway for local players to enter senior football through 1874 Northwich – something which has been a stumbling block in the area over a number of years.

"We hope that Taylor can be an example for local footballers. We are sure our supporters will join us in congratulating Taylor and will look forward to seeing him remain with us for the foreseeable future".
