Burscough have announced the appointment of Terry Green as First Team Manager.
Terry holds FA Coaching Badges at Levels 1 & 2, and will be developing the established playing squad, working alongside the Director of Football and club officials in an ambitious first season, going for a top half finish to the current league campaign.
Club Chairman Mike Swift said: "This appointment by the directors is made following a robust process, and on behalf of the club I'm pleased to wish Terry all good luck with his appointment that's a step up from his previous role as an assistant manager in our current league.
"I must also take this opportunity to sincerely thank the 13 other applicants for the post. Their interest in the club, football at Victoria Park and our plans going forward is to the credit of our players and the heritage of Burscough FC.
"Terry brings additional skills to Burscough with his non football management abilities, life experiences and well established links around the region".
