1874 Northwich's Community team have announced that the club's main charity partner for the coming 12 months will be The Joshua Tree.

From small beginnings, The Joshua Tree have grown to be an extremely important part of the support network in the North West for families going through the trauma of childhood cancer.

They provide practical and emotional support for children and their families, whether that be on a 1:1 basis or through group sessions.

Currently based in the centre of Northwich, they are poised to begin the construction of a bespoke support facility in the area and 1874 Northwich are looking forward to sharing that journey with them.

In addition, the club will also be aiming to support another charity close to the hearts of many involved with 1874 Northwich F.C. and that charity is CRY, Cardiac Risk in the Young.

A national charity, but one with close links to the sporting community, the club will be engaging with them and will be looking to run a number of fundraising and awareness sessions during the coming season.
