Sponsors Day at Eccleshall

At the recent home match against Nelson at Pershall Park, Eccleshall held a Sponsors Day at the club.
Main sponsors Click Dealer, together with programme and pitch surround board advertisers, were invited along to the game.
The various match sponsors and ball sponsors were also invited and those who attended had the opportunity to meet club officials, look around the ground and enjoy hospitality while also taking in the game.
Club secretary, Jim Tunney, said: "Our commercial manager, Paul Sheldon, worked hard earlier in the season to attract programme advertisers and he totally revamped the style of our match day programme to give them maximum coverage.
"He also secured a number of pitch board advertisers, all of which brought in valuable finance to the club. Main sponsors, Click Dealer, were already on board, supporting the club and we also attracted a number of match and ball sponsors.
"As a club, we wanted to recognise the contribution they all had made towards our running costs and we, in turn, have tried to promote them as much as possible. We can never compete with the approaches of professional clubs, but, in our own way showed our gratitude and I think they appreciated that.
"They seemed to enjoy the day and it looks as though a good number will be committing to next season.
"As we all know, every penny counts running clubs at our level and we have to do our best for those who support us. Based on how the day went, we will be looking to hold similar days in the future".
