At a meeting of the FA Leagues Committee at Wembley this afternoon, the Club Allocations for Steps 1 to 4 of the National League System were confirmed.

As expected, our Premier Division champions Runcorn Linnets and runners-up Widnes have been placed in the Step 4 Northern Premier League West Division.

The two clubs will come face to face with some familiar names, including our previous League champions from the last three seasons - Atherton Collieries, Colne and Glossop North End - as well as trips further afield to Brighouse Town, Colwyn Bay and Kendal Town.

The two promoted clubs from each of the other Step 5 leagues in the northern part of the country have all been placed in the Northern Premier League East Division.

Morpeth Town and Marske United (Northern League) and Pickering Town and Pontefract Collieries (Northern Counties East League) will face teams from across Yorkshire, Humberside, Lincolnshire and as far south as Peterborough Sports in Cambridgeshire.
