Barnoldswick Town have announced that Danny Craig has made the decision to step down as Manager.

His assistant Paul Cruz will also leave the role of Assistant Manager.

Both will stay with the club until the end of the season.

Club Secretary Alyson Hames said:

“Danny took on the role of Manager in January 2017, and since then he has made a number of changes within the club and moved the team forward. Last season we reached the Macron Cup Final, this season we got to the preliminary round of the FA Cup, another one for our club history.

“While with the club Danny has also completed his UEFA A coaching licence.

“Everyone at the club wish Danny all the best for the future and appreciate everything he has done for the club. His achievements will be eched in our club’s history forever.

“Cruzy hasn’t made his decision lightly but family commitments take priority. We will be sad to see Cruzy leave us but wish him and the family all the best

“Cruzy joined Barlick from Colne FC in 2014 and brought with him a wealth of knowledge in the League.

“He will now join Barnoldswick Town committee and help behind the scenes, and will be a vital link between the first team, the East Lancs team and the juniors”.
