Stockport Town - former Town player Alec Mudimu has been called up by Zimbabwe's national side for a four nation tournament in Zambia.

Mudimu left Town at the start of the season to join Wrexham-based Cefn Druids in the Welsh Premier League.

Zimbabwe face hosts Zambia in the semi-final of a four nation tournament in Ndola on 22 March before a second game - a final or third place play-off - against South Africa or Angola on 25 March.

1874 Northwich - the club's Walking Football group recently held a hot pot lunch in support of Prostate Cancer UK.

A presentation by Steve Stewart, CEO of Cheshire FA, and an informative talk by group member Steve Ellis, an ambassador for the charity, was given to the group of 30 walking footballers including 1874 Northwich first team physio Phil Lea.

During the lunch, the guys raised £38 for PCUK.

County Cup semi-finals - two more dates have been arranged for semi-finals involving our clubs.

Thursday 5th April - Mid Cheshire Senior Cup Semi Final - Winsford United v 1874 Northwich

Wednesday 25th April - Liverpool Senior Cup Semi Final - Litherland REMYCA v Prescot Cables

Both Winsford United and Stockport Town have reached the Semi Finals of the Cheshire Senior Cup, with dates for the ties yet to be announced.
