Since the appointment of new joint managers Paul Snape and Peter Griffiths back in May, Eccleshall have continued to add to their management team and club staff in preparation for the new season.

Paul and Peter moved quickly to recruit experienced coach Dave Dale and assistant coach Nick Farrington from Newcastle Town - both have previous Eccleshall connections as Dave coached and later managed the club a number of years back and Nick is a former player who made a number of appearances last season.

Stefan Evans has taken on the role of Media Officer and is currently working on developing the club's new website and will be responsible for match reports and links with the local press when the season kicks in.

The latest addition to the club is Paul Sheldon, who accepted the role of commercial manager last Friday and will be working to improve and increase club finances to assist with running costs.

A director of a creative design company, Paul has experience of working with other sports clubs and will bring this to bear on selling the club to the local community and attracting new sponsorships. He has already outlined some ideas to the club's fundraising sub-committee which are now being pursued.

Club Secretary Jim Tunney said: "After our FA reprieve from relegation at the end of last season, the club will be working hard to try and ensure that we are not in the same position again. We feel that we have a management team who can take the club forward and who are already preparing for the season ahead.

"Pre-season training is well under way in advance of our first friendly against Nantwich Town on 11. July. The new media officer post will bring a fresh approach to both promoting and improving the image of the club.

"As for the most recent recruit, Paul Sheldon, Eccleshall FC have been crying out for a commercial manager to assist the club for years - his appointment is another step in the right direction for the future".

"Aside from new recruitments, the club committee are working hard on preparing Pershall Park for another season in the Hallmark Security League - something that did not look likely at the end of April. We hope that this is the beginning of a new era for Eccleshall".
